DrFrank's Michigan "policy In progress" for Michigan cannabis consultations:
I plan to be in Michigan part of every May and November, for medical cannabis evaluations, and physician/patient seminars.
-Since many of you/your friends may not be due for renewal when I am in Michigan, I'd be happy to do short interviews and hands on exams at no preliminary charge, but then would have done the requisite in person exam.
-Only if and when you decide you want a recommendation from Dr. Frank sometime within the year, would you be scheduled for the equally important and more time-consuming history-taking via phone interview and outside records review, and only then would the fee apply. (Remember: I require that you are having your serious illness followed by your own Michigan physician at least yearly, and that you obtain current records of this for me.)

DrFrank will also meet with any physicians who would like to be part of AIMLegal.org and take my certification training.

CBD info: O'Shaughnessy's article review by FL; Russo article: A Tale of Two Cannabinoids
CBD (Cannabidiol) a developing story:
Both the 2009 and 2010 issues of O’Shaughnessy’s, the Journal of the Society of Cannabis Clinicians:
have page 1 articles about CBD (Cannabidiol) one of the over 70 cannabinoids found in cannabis

Below is the url for the by Ethan Russo MD, and Geoffrey Guy MD (GW Pharmaceuticals) article:

The therapeutic rationale for combining tetrahydrocannabinol and cannabidiol

Frank Lucido's review of Page 1 article about CBD strains in the 2009 issue of O’Shaughnessy’s, the Journal of the Society of Cannabis Clinicians:
.
Lab Begins Testing For Mold, Potency; High-CBD Strain Will be Available

This is the big story, and deserves first page. For the first time in history, patients can try strains with varying amounts of THC and CBD, and decide for themselves whether they want higher or lower levels of these two cannabinoids.

Up til now, we have had what I call a combination of "folk wisdom" (which can be most important if you know which folk are collating their observations) and marketing (Train Wreck? I hate the name. It doesn't sound very medicinal).
Bottom line is that we may now have more information by next year, as to whether high CBD strains might be better for some symptoms.
Salient sentence from the article is "CBD: It's not for stoners".
(CBD is Cannabidiol, one of over 70 different cannabinoids present in Cannabis plants)

"CBD: It's not for stoners".
or as GW Pharmaceuticals says:
"CBD is demonstrated to antagonise some undesirable effects of THC including intoxication, sedation and tachycardia, while
contributing analgesic, anti-emetic, and anti-carcinogenic properties in its own right."

That salient sentence is from the abstract of a paper by Ethan Russo MD, and Geoffrey Guy MD of GW Pharmaceuticals, which markets Sativex (only legal in Canada) which is a 50:50 sublingual spray of natural THC:CBD, extracted from the whole plant.
