REPEAL ! : An idea whose time has come!
I am heartened by the grass-roots support that is out there for our initiative!
We had over 75 people attend the RCPA Kick-off event at my home on October 1. Great party, and a good 1st fundraiser.
And we have our work cut out for us: This will not be an easy struggle, but if we get on the California ballot, I think we have a great shot at winning. Let's make this happen.
TIMELINE:
We are about to start our petition drive. PRESS RELEASE SOON.
We have 5 months, until 4/20/12, to collect 505,000 valid signatures from registered voters.
We will need volunteers for the signature drive....and money.

-REPEALS all criminal prohibitions on cannabis related conduct for adults, 19 and over.
-MANDATES strict rules against unlawful distribution to or by minors, and against driving while impaired.
-MAINTAINS medical rights for patients.
-VESTS the newly created California Cannabis Commission with the regulation of commercial cannabis.
-Dec. 3, 1:30-3:30pm
